Hello again from Lapland,
Just arrived home from Raahe approximately 1 hour ago. The plan was to stay there till the end of the fair (i.e. about midnight till the dance was over), but no luck with the weather...rain, rain, rain...thus, we ended up packing our stuff before dinner and headed home:). Eventhough, the rain took care of the lack of people we had some fun. Had some fantastic Cafe Latte and KarlFazer choclate (iik..what about the Health Promotion Campaign and the run..hmm, still on it and WILL jogg tommorrow!!:)) and laughed like grazy with my sis trying to count how many people and potential customers we could SEE (mostly on the other side of the street) within an hour (the average result, approximately 0.5) while "selling" in our booth. The end result for the whole day; zero sales, but huge amounts of fun! At this point, some great philosopher might ask, now what is more important...Ughhh, Well, do you know what philosopher, I do not know!! :) But anyway, now after such a "hard" day of work it is time to relax and maybe to watch some TV and then (if time permits:)) finish some work.

We will be adding items also onto our ETSY store so welcome to take a look :).

Back home from Midsummer Festivals and Raahe:). The Midsummer was great, fantastic food, good company and lot of fun. Not really a  traditional one as we did not even see a bond fire, but the event by the sea was good fun... Street dancers, pony rides, good music, tasty food and loads of people, yes would definately do it again.
After the Midsummer party it was time for work. We arrived at Raahe early in the morning and had a great little wooden booth waiting for us to place our items in. The day would have been perfect were there not the other inhabitants in our booth also... arggh! Yep..quite a few of them actually:) It definately kept me busy during the day, running in and out of our booth to avoid stinging. Yes, believe it or not we found three bee nests on the roof on the inside of our booth. We of course(!!) made an "emergency" call to the agency that takes care of the booths and help was soon on the way, at least so we were told. Thank you and well done it arrived well after we had already departed...Now the booth is bee free:) Thanks a lot, yet too late for us!!:)
Some picks also for you to see. Next time in Raahe at Pekka's Fair  30.6 2012. Warmly welcome!

Sis taking a picture of me while I am taking a picture of her...Well, that works:)
 Midsummer eve...

You could actually do some hoolahooping  also if you wanted to...:)
The welcoming bee nests on the roof of our booth...ONLY three of them and with inhabitants.

 Some newbies in the Fair.

After a months break from blogging I have probably started to get addicted to it :) , thus here I am again.
A great day today. Fantastic local horse riding competition... the sun was shining, people were smiling and of course the most important of all beautiful cute horses all around. Had a great time and just wished that I was taking part...well maybe one of these days! Some pictures from the competition follows and now back to work with the little birdies, doggies, bunnies etc....

Lisa's interview on Women's 10

HI

It has been  a long time. Oh dear, the interview, will be posted shortly I said. Almost a month has passed by, well maybe that's Lappish for shortly (NOT!!).
Anyway, here we are back again and now it is finally time for Lisa's interview.

Interviewer: Hi Lisa, how are you today? Looking forward to your project?:)

Lisa: Oh dear! I am sure its going to be fun yet I am a bit scared to be frank. I used to jog quite a bit when I was younger, but had given it up few years back due to a lot of changing schedules. Now I have started again with little spurts two-three times a week during the summer  and in autumn I will start practicing properly. So little summer fun to start with. I also horse back ride twice a week which also keeps my condition up. Even though some people say it is the horse that does the work:) So much for Health Promotion!

Interviewer: Oh, exactly ... that leads to my next question. Why did you and your company start the Health Promotion campaign?

Lisa: Good question, there is no short answer really, but we want to on our part participate in some way  in cancer awareness and health promotion as one of us was diagnosed with the disease a couple of years ago. Our team member went through surgery and rough treatments and is doing fine at the moment.  But it gave us all a lot to think about and we want to be involved in making people aware of the disease and have also launched the Hope-Collection to promote love, hope and faith among all of us:). Thus, I am very devoted to do the run and promote this cause on our part.

Interviewer: Wonderful, I wish you all the best in your project and best greetings to your co-worker happy to hear that she is doing better.

Lisa: Thanks, my progress will be updated and I will let you know my latest feeling about the project.

Interviewer: Great, I saw you have some new projects also on the way, a bunny rabbit almost jumped on my face on my way in.

Lisa: LOL, that is true, they are coming and I do not even have a barn.

Interviewer: Best of luck Lisa and will be hearing form you soon.
